Below is an attachment of a list of organisations & services that may benefit older people.
Over 500 people attended AGEnda’s
Fear of Crime events last week. Events were held in
Newtownards, Holywood, Bangor, Comber & Portaferry.
Each event provided tips, advice, contact numbers and an
opportunity to meet the PSNI, NI Fire & Rescue Service and
many others to learn about home safety. The focus of the
project was on how to deal with bogus callers to the house,
nuisance calls and scams by post, phone or online.
“Volunteering is the commitment of time and energy, for the benefit of society and the community, the environment, or individuals outside one’s family. It is undertaken freely and without concern for financial gain.”
AGEnda are very fortunate to have 80+ very committed volunteers supporting their Groups and Activities.
