Chi-Me Class

26 Jan 2018

As part of the Everybody Active 2020 programme we are pleased to offer a Chi-Me class. Chi-Me is a low Impact and light intensity class which is based on a series of Tai Chi influenced exercises that can help to improve mental wellbeing whilst improving strength, flexibility, balance and co-ordination, other potential health benefits may include improved heart function and normalised blood pressure.

Almost anyone can take part in Chi-Me, even those with conditions that may exclude them from other forms of exercise, as it is very low impact and places little pressure on your bones and joints. Another advantage of this class is that there is no special exercise gear needed as the class can be done wearing ordinary loose clothes and trainers.
